Andrea Chiuchiarelli

Received his B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di L'Aquila (Italy) in 2009, and PhD in Telecom Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Pisa, Italy) in 2010.

Between 2013 and 2014 he was a visiting researcher in the Optical Communications and Microwave Research Lab (LAPCOM) in the Electrical Engineering Department at Unicamp. From 2014 to 2018 he was Senior Researcher in the Division of Optical Communications at CPqD, Campinas (SP). Since 2018 he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering (DELT) of UFMG.

His main research interests include Optical Communications, Optical Networks, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Fiber-Optic and Free-Space Light Propagation Modeling.
